My passion is helping students develop the ability to think and act like scientists. I have not always been a teacher. After receiving my B.S. degree in chemistry from Colorado State University, I worked as an organic chemist at E.R. Squibb and Sons in Princeton, NJ. After that, I moved to Arizona where I studied business in graduate school and I earned my MBA. This launched my second career as a statistical analyst and market researcher for the pharmaceutical and high tech industries. In 2012, I received my Master of Arts Teaching degree from University of Portland and began substitute teaching in public and private schools.
I am so excited to be teaching chemistry 1 at Aloha High School this year.
Go Warriors!
